The 43-km Gurgaon-Patuadi-Rewari highway, which is expected to be completed by March 2025, is going to be a major push to the region. According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), 60 per cent of the work is completed, and the Wazirpur-Rewari section will likely be completed by December this year, while the Dwarka Expressway-Wazirpur stretch will be completed next year.
In addition, as a part of this project, the construction of a 180m, two-lane flyover on the Dwarka expressway that will connect to the NH-352W has started.
Real estate players said this major development will offer direct connectivity for traffic headed to Rewari from Delhi or Gurgaon through the expressway. This will further provide commuters and transporters with ease of living, boosting demand for nearby real estate projects.
Raheja Developers’ Nayan Raheja said, “The upcoming Gurgaon-Rewari highway will boost the commercial and residential development in the region. This development will not only improve the connectivity with the nearby regions but also spur real estate development in areas like Pataudi and Dharuhera. This further will allow developers to curate the growing demands for residential spaces along the stretch, creating new opportunities for investors and homebuyers.”
Saurab Saharan, group managing director of HCBS Developments, said, “Through this increased connectivity via Gurgaon-Rewari Highway, tremendous potential will unlock to industrial hubs such as Manesar and Bilaspur with further boosts in real estate demands in the surrounding areas. With this emerging development, we look forward to contributing to the real estate demand in the region.”
Moreover, NHAI officials say the highway is expected to reduce the vehicular load on the heavily congested Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. It will also provide an alternative route to industrial areas in Manesar, Bilaspur, and Dharuera, facilitating smoother traffic flow.
Pyramid Infratech’s Ashwani Kumar said, “Gurgaon is well-known for its strong infrastructure development. With the much-awaited Gurgaon-Rewari highway, we expect that the momentum in the real estate space within and around the region will be even better. This would also lead to the appreciation of property value in nearby localities, thus presenting it as an attractive proposition for real estate investors.”
Sachin Gawri, founder and CEO, Rise Infraventures, said, “The highway will play a pivotal role in transforming the real estate landscape of Southern Haryana. By linking Gurgaon and Rewari it will not only enhance transport but also drive economic growth in underdeveloped areas along the route. The seamless connectivity between key zones will elevate property values, positioning Gurgaon and Rewari as prime locations for future expansion.”
Therefore, the Gurgaon-Rewari Highway stands as a transformative project poised to redefine lifestyle and work commutes for homebuyers and commuters alike. With a completion target of March 2025 and significant progress already made, the highway promises to enhance connectivity, alleviate traffic congestion, and facilitate smoother transportation between key industrial hubs and residential areas. As the project progresses, the highway will play a vital role in shaping the economic landscape of Southern Haryana, making it an exciting time for the real estate market.
