Her birth makes both the father and the mother relatives of the legendary Rabindranath Tagore. Gitindranath is the grandson of the famous Bengali painter Gaganendranath Tagore, whose father was a cousin brother of Rabindranath Tagore. On the other hand, Ira Tagore is the granddaughter of Rabindranath’s brother Dwijendranath Tagore.
