Describing the alluring look, Manish took to Instagram and shared: The iconic Rekha looked stunning and dazzled during her 20-minute performance at the recent iifa awards in a custom-made Gulabo Banarasi Kali lehenga with intricate zardosi-embroidered borders and jewellery.
Manish further added, “My journey in costume design, which began in 1990, led to introducing character styling for heroines and crafting costumes for star performances. From designing 350 to 500 costumes for Mughal-e-Azam play, my first play, to creating 1300 for Civilisation to Nation at NMACC in Mumbai, it has been an incredible creative Odyssey. Working with Rekhaji has been a remarkable journey; her dedication, excitement and commitment to perfecting her look are truly inspiring.”
