The biggest battle of IPL began today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as the IPL 2025 auction kickstarted in the city today. While all the stylish owners of the IPL franchises garner attention during the auction every year, it’s mainly the leading ladies – Nita Ambani and Kavya Maran who end up walking away with all the limelight every year and this year was no different.Kavya Maran and Nita Ambani almost ended up twinning at the 2025 IPL Auction on Sunday, November 24. Kavya, the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad, opted for a simple yet elegant navy blue suit for the occasion, while Nita Ambani, the owner of Mumbai Indians, also wore the same colour but in a sophisticated tweed fabric.

Another star who managed to stun was actor and Punjab Kings owner Preity Zinta, who made a stunning appearance in a white suit paired with a beautiful phulkari dupatta.

Kavya Maran quickly became a social media sensation, with her fans flooding Twitter with pictures of her, many expressing their excitement for the auction, just to see her. One fan tweeted, “More than the auction, I’m excited to see Kavya Maran.” Another wrote, “Hayyee #KavyaMaran Sare players dedo yaar (give her all the players)!” Another fan gushed, “Haye Aj ka dil na tootay bus ❤️❤️❤️ Kavya Maran looks all ready for #IPLAuction.”

Nita Ambani, meanwhile, was spotted praying next to her son, Akaash Ambani, as they carefully bid for key players.

Preity Zinta also received plenty of praise for her look, with one fan calling her the “OG of Punjabi fashion” and another one quipping, “Undisputed GOAT 🐐 of Beauty,” and another tweeting, “Finally, Preity Zinta at IPL Auctions for Punjab Kings.”
Earlier, Preity shared a video on Instagram, showcasing the scenic views of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She expressed her excitement about the auction and asked for recommendations regarding their team’s potential strategy. “Done with my digital detox! Landed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the IPL Auction. Watch this space for some amazing new announcements folks. Till then all recommendations for our new team are welcome. A total of 574 players have been shortlisted from an initial pool of 1,574 names. These players will be up for bidding from November 24-25 in Jeddah. The list includes 208 overseas players, 12 uncapped overseas talents, and 318 uncapped Indian players.
