On a rare trip for foreign journalists into the Gaza Strip, Richard Engel witnessed the devastation wrought by the bombing campaign that Israel insists was necessary to defeat Hamas. “It is just unimaginable how Palestinians are going to be able to live here at the end of this war,” said Engel.
