Swiggy Bolt: Food delivery platform launches 10-minute meal delivery service – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Food and grocery platform Swiggy launched its 10 minutes meals and beverage delivery service Bolt on Friday, currently available key locations in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, and Bangalore.
The IPO-bound company also plans to expand this service to more locations in the coming weeks. Swiggy will quick deliver popular dishes which require minimal preparation time via Bolt by partnering with restaurants within a 2 km radius of the customer.
The service offers a variety of items, including burgers, hot and cold beverages, breakfast dishes, and biryani. It also focuses on ready-to-pack items such as ice cream, sweets, and snacks.
Additionally, Swiggy has clarified that delivery partners are not informed about the difference between Bolt and regular orders, ensuring that they are neither penalized nor incentivized based on delivery time.
“Bolt is the next evolution in our mission to provide unmatched convenience. Ten years ago, Swiggy revolutionised food delivery by cutting average wait times to 30 minutes,” said Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy’s Food Marketplace.
“Now, we’re reducing that wait even further for frequently ordered items like coffee, burgers, ice cream, and biryani, partnering with trusted restaurants to deliver the best food in just 10 minutes,” he added.
